Disclaimer: this is a Desktop PC and my monitor uses HDMI. Yesterday I majorly upgraded my motherboard to ASUS B550-F, CPU (changed it to Ryzen 5700G APU), and 32GB RAM. My APU is not good at being the graphics processor as it can't even run my native refresh rate (144Hz), just makes the colors look bad, and it makes it so I can't change anything in the Nvidia control panel other than 3D settings and Configure Surround, PhysX. My GPU is much better at processing graphics than my APU, but my computer still uses the APU even when I change it in device manager. I also can't simply change the Graphics Processor in 3D settings with the Nvidia control panel, I'm assuming because the APU is AMD and not Nvidia. Is there any way to fix this?
