Dear everyone

Hi My system build is this if your wondering what I am using:

MOBO: Gigabyte Z370P D3
CPU: Intel i5 8th gen 8400 Lake coffee 2.8GHZ Processor
Graphics card Gigabyte OC Geforce GTX1050Ti 4GB
RAM: Crucial 2133MHz 8gb DDR4 card
Optical drive: LG DVD/CD Writer player
Case: Deepcool Tesseract Mid tower case
Storage: Seagate FireCuda 2TB Internal Hybrid drive
Second one is the Seagate 2.5inch 1TB Firecuda drive (new one installed
PSU: Thermal take Litepower 750Watt unit

So Icreated this post because recently I just bought that Seagate Firecuda 1TB hybrid drive right and installed it with a new SATA cable inside and plugged it in and hooked it up. So what is happening here is I go on BIOS and my computer system can detect the storage device fully working in the SATA 2 slot. Now I checked disk manager for everyone's info and it doesn't pop up on there but yet my computer still see's it. I also went on the file explorer and the new storage device doesn't pop up on the local drives screen. So wondering why I can't access my new hard drive even though my computer can see it and detect that it is fully working in the background but for some reason it doesn't show up in the boot sequence nor does it pop up in my file screen.

Really need help with this and thankyou if you can figure it out because it won't allow me to see it and format it either but it works. Thanks Joseph

You need to initialize it first. Right click on This PC and select Manage to open Computer Management. Now select Disk Management from the left panel and wait for the computer to load the drives. Then, right click on the new drive, initialize it as GPT, then format it.

Yes but it doesn't show itself on my Disk management and I have done this exact step multiple times. I see the device in my device manager but it won't show up in disk management as a device that I can format because nothing shows as unallocated in the manager
