How do you guys deal with short cables when building PCs?

So I clean my pc once every few months, and completely take it apart and clean every part, cable, nook and cranny.

And when I do so, it gives my a good opportunity to try and improve upon my previous cable management. I've gotten it down pretty well, where I can hide 99% of the cables... However... the fan header cable for the fan that came with the pc isn't long enough to make it to the mother board, and I have one of those built in fan controllers to the front of my case, which requires sata cable power for the fans to operate..
So pretty much I use one of those sata power cables from my PSU to power the fans w/ the fan controller... The only issue is that that's also too short and I have to run it through the middle of my case, rather than hiding it in the back, so you've got a whole lot of nice and neat cable management in the back, then you have one large sata power cable in the front thats large and ugly. How do you guys fix this if/when you run into it?
