I've been looking to get more RAM for my PC but I've been told that there are lots of factors when choosing RAM.So I was wondering if anyone could help me know what RAM my motherboard supports.
It's a Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2

Solution
The best way is to go to the motherboard makers website and the support section for your board and look at the memory compatibility list. Since they don't test every RAM module many won't be on there. But if the voltage, timings and number of pins are the same as the ones listed, chances are it will work. It's better to use matching sticks (kits) rather than adding mismatched modules.

What APU, that can more be the determining factor - while say a mobo may support 2400 DRAM - if your MC (memory controller) in the APU can't handle it then you might be forced to run the DRAM slower, good sets for your mobo and most APUs will be GSkill Ripjaws X or Snipers in 2133/9 either 2x4GB or 2x8GB
