Hi all,

I know it may sound stupid but how do you know if your power supply is good enough to run graphic cards like GTX 750 ti?

my PSU is PS-6451-5AE. It came with my pre-built computer. It says on the label that it works up to 500w. So I thought GTX 750 ti would work with my PSU but some of my friends are telling me to upgrade PSU. Is it absolutely necessary? or is it good as it is?

Thank you for your answer!

Generally, the PSU's that come with cases are really cheap and poor quality. They can fail well short of reaching there advertised wattage and possibly damage other components. The GTX 750Ti doesn't require more than a 300 watt PSU and yours would probably work ok, but for piece of mind, I would replace it.
