I have an old ECS A790GXM-AD3 motherboard with an AMD Phenom-II 965 processor. Recently, it has started shutting down unexpectedly. HWMonitor shows the TMPIN2 on the motherboard to be running very hot:

Hardware monitor ITE IT87
Voltage 0 1.02 Volts [0x40] (CPU VCORE)
Voltage 1 2.16 Volts [0x87] (VIN1)
Voltage 2 1.52 Volts [0x5F] (+3.3V)
Voltage 3 5.03 Volts [0xBB] (+5V)
Voltage 4 4.80 Volts [0x4B] (+12V)
Voltage 5 -9.92 Volts [0x9B] (-12V)
Voltage 6 -9.86 Volts [0x9A] (-5V)
Voltage 7 5.54 Volts [0xCE] (+5V VCCH)
Voltage 8 3.07 Volts [0xC0] (VBAT)
Temperature 0 39°C (102°F) [0x27] (TMPIN0)
Temperature 1 29°C (84°F) [0x1D] (TMPIN1)
Temperature 2 112°C (233°F) [0x70] (TMPIN2)
Fan 0 2170 RPM [0x137] (FANIN0)
Fan PWM 0 0 pc [0x0] (FANPWM0)
Fan PWM 1 50 pc [0x40] (FANPWM1)
Fan PWM 2 50 pc [0x40] (FANPWM2)

How do I tell which component is related to Temperature 2 (TMPIN2) and is overheating?

I can't seem to find what TMPIN2 exacly is either. Im assuming its the cpu thermometer? Make sure the fan is plugged in and spinning as well as the heatsink being dust free.
