How do you load the cartridge in the 1020 color jetprinter?

My Dell printer died and am trying to hook up my "old" Lexmark 1020 color Jetprinter but can't figure how to load the cartridge. Any help out there?

Open the front cover and cartridge cradle should slide across and stop for you to remove/install the cartridge.
