How do you stop a buzzing sound from your monitor?

god! this annoying buzzing sound is coming from monitor! i have no idea how this happened, but there's nothing wrong with anything on it. like no screen flickering or anything. when i turn off the screen the buzzing sound goes away but when i turn it back on that sounds comes back. its really annoying and high pitched! plzzzz help!!!

Obviously there is some sort of interference. Do you have any speakers next to it? If so try moving them and see if that helps.

That's normally vibration in one of the transformers (especially prevalent in CRT monitors). Not much you can do about it other than buy a new monitor or learn to live with it.
