How do you stop the opening video from playing? Lack of Indeo 5.2 codec causes crash.

Motocross Madness 2 crash on opening in XP?

If your Mx2 is crashing before it gets to the game it's probably the Indeo 5.2 codec (or lack of it, actually) that is responsible. I tried buying the codec from Ligos ($14.95 via Paypal) but it wouldn't download and Ligos won't answer my emails asking for a way to download it!

The only fix I can see is to cancel or delete the opening video and get right to the game. Anyone know how to do this?

You can try either installing the Indeo codec or using the workaround described by gurubuzz here...

You can get the Indeo codec from the following codec pack. You can pick and choose which codec to install; you do not need to install them all.

As for the attempted purchase, contact PayPal and let them know of the issue you are having.
