I have a FHX2300 Gateway Monitor.
My monitor is not working correctly , it goes almost black, i was using my flash light and i can see in the background that windows has loaded and i can change the Screen Menu underneath the monitor, shows blue, i changed the brightness levels up and down and sometimes the screen would come back for like 4 seconds but with a very high pitch noise coming from my screen.
I checked my wires HDMI and power cord, It's not that. So wanted to open up my screen to clean it out , could be very dusty, i've had it for like 4-5 years now. Loved it but not sure if i should open and clean it out, not sure how to open the back to it? there is four holes on the back.
Can anyone tell me how to open it up and look inside?
Do i need a special tool? or can i use something else to open it?
