I have a 144hz monitor 1080p and wanted to know how much fps should i cap, is fine if i go under 144fps? at 144fps or above 144fps? Some games i run at more than 144fps but not sure if it's a problem or not, please help me with that.

A 144hz monitor allows upto 144 fps to be displayed on your screen. There isn't much use for your PC to push more than 144fps as its really all your monitor can display. Your min fps tho is also an issue to create a fluid motion. Now basically most people can only reconize 60fps with a few begin covered upto 75. The 144 fills in the gaps as latency between fps could be notices at times. I suggest caping your fps max at 144 because it helps with min fps. Its will also help with ms access time for online games as it frees up your CPU for other operations.
