How does a PS4 PRO CPU compare to a stock i5-2500k?

Solution
The PS4 Pro's main processor should be roughly comparable to an AMD 8-core FX-series processor, like what the standard PS4 had, only clocked higher. As such, a stock i5-2500K should have faster performance per core, but fewer cores to work with. A game that's well optimized for the console would try to make better use of those additional cores, but that won't necessarily be the same for the PC version of the game, where developers will generally make sure their games run relatively well on the hardware most of their target audience has, which would currently be processors with four faster cores.

Additionally, the current console's CPUs are also integrated with their GPU on the same chip. As such, it's hard to make a direct...
It would be Amd vs Intel and Intel always had better single core performance. Im not why why you need this info

Additionally, the current console's CPUs are also integrated with their GPU on the same chip. As such, it's hard to make a direct comparison as far as gaming performance goes. A 2500K should still hold up fairly well in modern games though.
