Question How does Facebook always know?

They suspended my account and asked for ID. I'm not providing them with anything more than my email.

That said, whenever I try to make a new account on this device I can never get past the 'create account' button, it always say "there was some suspicious activity on your account and you have to upload some ID."

Only on this device though, I can make as many account on the other devices in the house connected to the same wifi.

The IP address. The MAC address of the device. Cookies. Lots of possible ways.

Have you tried clearing storage/cache for the app? Im assuming its with the app. Otherwise, could be cookies if youre using a browser.

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't the IP address assigned by the internet provider through wifi and/or ethernet? Why am I able to use that same IP address on different devices?

MAC address sounds probable. Any way to change it?

It's on a browser. I think it's more probable that they've got my MAC address though
