The ssd is the better one.
The motherboard supports higher speed ram.
This ram is probably as high as that i3 will support without issues, higher speed ram might need an overclock. It has a lower cas latency so should still be pretty fast.
The psu you chose should be fine, but i like this one better,it gives some leeway for higher power gpu's,ones that need two pcie power connectors like a gtx 1070 for instance.

Solution

That's not how I read it, but regardless I'm not specifically recommending an i5, but rather, suggesting that buying more expensive RAM may not be the best use of a limited budget.

Ok thanks ill use the samsung ssd then, and ye i was considering a higher power psu but i liked the 80+gold as nothing else even close to that price seemed to get gold but ill consider the corsair one. Also didn't know that processors couldn't handle certain speeds of ram, thanks for the advice

if i dont go with a z170 ill do that, hadnt read anywhere that only z170s could handle more than that so i had no clue, thanks. Also found the price difference very minimal between 2133 and 3000 so just went with it but oh well

ye man i see what you mean, extra £20 on ram and mobo to get a z170 and 3200mhz is drastic increase, do you think 3200mhz will go out much better than the the 2666mhz or is it a waste to go higher

Like i said,i don't think the i3 will support much higher than 2666mhz ram and the ram i chose has a low cas latency so i woul stick with that.
Even better cpu's like the 6600K or 6700K will have trouble with 3200mhz ram and most likely need an overclock to make it work at that speed.
I would just stick with the 2666mhz ram i chose, but you can try abit faster, that's up to you.

ok i'll stick with that then, thanks for the help
