How does one clean install Win10 onto a NEW SSD?

I upgraded my Win7 to Win10 on a computer with just an HDD. Now I want to install a SSD and install Win10 onto it and wipe the HDD clean and use it as a data drive. Everything I have read about Win10 says you can clean install, but onto the same drive as the upgrade using the recovery - wipe everything option, but that doesn't help in my situation.

Use something like magic jelly bean keyfinder to get the windows 10 key. Make a bootable flash drive and boot to it. You can format the drive and reinstall from there.

Let it install on an USB stick.

Open the installer from your desktop, the installer is in the USB stick folder you installed it on.

Follow the instructions. Make sure to select 'Don't keep anything' when it asks you what type of install you want.
