How does RAM work? Dual-Channel, four slots??

Hello,

First of all: I know this is a very stupid question, but I'm desperate for an answer.

I'm looking at a motherboard for my rig, one similar to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128512

Under "Details" the RAM info is:
Number of Memory Slots: 4×240pin
Memory Standard: DDR3 2133/1866/1600/1333/1066
Maximum Memory Supported: 32GB
Channel Supported: Dual Channel

I'm looking at Dual Channel memory, but all I can find is a max of 8GB of RAM Example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220466

These "Dual channel" memory only come with two sticks, but the MOBO supports a max of four. So, is it possible to buy two of these "dual channel" packages and put all four sticks in the mobo?

I guess my question is: How can I get 12GB-16GB+ of RAM on a dual-channel MOBO which supports up to four memory slots?

EDIT: Would it be possible to buy four of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104244 and put them in the MOBO for 16GB of RAM?

Yes, you can fill up all of the RAM slot as long as they are compatible with the mobo and match pairs in multiple of 2 for dual channel mobo. Check compatibility of RAM for your mobo from the list provided with mobo company. They won't cover every RAM on the market, but that is what we are for.
