I have two scsi drives that hold the data in hp proliant ml350 server. When the server doesn't work anymore due to hardware failure, How can I retrieve data from those drives? Can I simply use scsi to sata converter on a normal PC to retrieve data from the drives that are configured as raid 1?

Solution
Hi
Has a disaster happened or are you preparing for disaster ?

How are you backing up at the moment ?

You will probably need an compatible scsc raid card with PCI or PCI-e interface to read one disk or the pair as raid 1

There are a large number of different SCSI interfaces & connectors which have been in use over the years so get one which matches your hard drives
