How does the AMD FX-8320 handle older games?

I am getting several game for Christmas, ranging from 2003 to November this past year and was wondering how it is at those older games with a R9 280X? If it's needed they are Prince of Persia, King Kong, Bully, GTA: San Andreas e.t.c.

Definitely. You will get more FPS than your eye can notice.
