How does the NZXT H500 (Break Out Cable) connect to the F.Panel Cable?

I'm using the NZXT H500 and was wondering how the (Break Out Cable) labeled (K) in the manual connects to the Front Panel Cable of the case. It doesn't really tell you which way to put it on properly.

The side that separates is the side that connects to the motherboard while the other end connects to the Front Panel Cable.

I don't know if I asked the question correctly. I'm actually wondering how the break out cable connects to the f.panel to be put into the motherboard

The case should have a cable for the front panel. The break out cable will connect to that cable. See image:

So are the two arrows on both the f.panel and break out cable facing the same side on opposite ends of each other?

I don't remember where the arrows were located. I do remember that you can only connect it in one orientation. There was no risk in connecting them backwards. Also, you can see from the image that the wires must align.
