How does the signal flow inside the computer, when we buy a product online?

when we select a dvd and click buy button in amazon, How does it end up buying us a DVD? where does the signal go from the mouse?

Clicking your mouse is just an action. That action causes your browser to send the contents of your shopping cart + credit card info to Amazon's servers where a program takes this information and produces an order.
