My knowledge about computer hardware isn't very high but i've been trying to educate myself the last few days by researching some computer parts. I'm trying to make a computer from scratch that will basically play ArmA 2 along with Empire Total War and America's Army 3 in high settings and maybe burn the occasional DVD. I want a good gaming PC but not anything extreme or excessive as the three games I listed are the only ones I envision myself playing, so i don't see the need to worry about upgrading my system in the future since I don't plan on getting any next gen games as I do most of my gaming on Xbox 360 to begin with.

Curious on what people's thoughts are on my build. Keep in mind i'm a relative noob about computer hardware so advice or suggestions would definitely be welcome. Does my list look compatible? Did i skimp on an item I shouldn't have or spend more than is necessary on another item? Do I need a cooling fan? instead of buying Vista should I just use XP for the next few months until Windows 7 comes out? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
