How does this build look for editing/gaming?

Hey Tom's hardware, I've been looking to build a computer for video editing/3d animation as well as gaming. After some deliberation, this is what I've come up with. Will this work for my needs?

I personally recommend CM Storm, Corsair or Razer gaming peripherals than the cheap stuff you have selected. Other than that, it's fine. Go for it

You do not need 16GB RAM and you would be fine with 8GB.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree, but I plan to be doing some video editing and 3d animation with this build, so 16GB will definitely be necessary.
