how does this build sound?

Ok so im aware the i7 is a bit overkill as ive been told a shit ton.. but i could use the extra horsepower as i render and edit alot of videos.. but im just wondering if the GTX 980 would be a bad decision and i should just go with the GTX 970 in 2-way SLI becuase its cheaper and most likely better.. i just want a second opinion. And i want to build it in the small case i have listed.

Personally, I usually go for the largest single video card I can afford at the time rather than fiddling with SLI/Crossfire, but I think it would more depend on what resolution you re going to be running on. The higher the resolution the more raw video output power you need so the 970's might make more sense in some cases, but a 980 is more than capable at 1080 or 1440p.
