Hi,

Attached is a link to a pre-built gaming PC that I am thinking of buying and I wanted to get opinions to see if it is worth it and suggestions if you can find or build better one for around the same price. My budget is $1000 and that includes an OS as well I am located in Canada. As well if you could also explain why this PC isnt worth it that would be very much appreciated.

I also have never built a PC before but I am willing to if it isnt to much trouble.

Thank you!

Has $100 room for keyboard/mouse of your choice. The video card in this is so much better than the one in the prebuilt.

Do you think the wireless adapter would be a bad choice for gaming, or should it not affect the performance?

Depends on how far you are from the router. but anyways it came to my awareness that indeed you are in Canada so the price for this hopped to $1030.

What would you switch out to make this under $1000?

Probably the video card, which would get it to be very similar to the prebuilt.

So essentially it would almost be worth it to just get the prebuilt?

Yes.
