Question How does warranty works?

Hello everyone, it is my first attempt of getting gpu online from amazon. So my question is, how does warranty work for gpus that bought online? Do you have to make registration or the warranty applied as soon as purchasing is completed? I'm quite new at this so would be delighted if someone can give a clear picture regarding this.

Having to register is totally dependent on the manufacturer and its rules.

Most just go by the invoice you get from Amazon and the part serial number.

As far as i know Amazon will not entertain any RMA attempt from buyer in case the gpu have problem right?

Unless you are at some other 'amazon', there is an invoice for your order.

After the first 30 days, any RMA warranty is between you and the manufacturer.

Up to that 30 days, Amazon generally takes it back, no questions asked.

When i received my gpu. I got absolutely nothing besides 2 huge cardboxes and one of em was empty🙈

I don't use the 'app' on my phone.

But, if I go into my Amazon account, Orders.
On any particular Order, this:

Click, and that specifically counts for the manufacturer.

I've had to provide that more than once for a warranty claim.

This also depends on where, exactly, you bought this within the AMazon world.

Sold and Shipped by Amazon is one thing.

From some 3rd party is completely different.

Thank you. That's a relief to know as i'm still waiting for my power supply and other part to arrive i'm just too lazy to go through those halfway and probably need to wait at least until end of the month to get all my parts together before starting my rebuild.
