Question How easily would a matte-finish laptop screen (anti glare) scratch?

Hello again kind people of TomsHardware.

I just have another quick question pertaining to cleaning a monitor. About a week ago I was cleaning a brand new laptop screen for the first time. I was using a microfiber cloth as per most people's instructions.

The cloth seemed to be clean, and I gently swept it over my screen several times in a sweeping motion, applying just enough pressure to hopefully get things clean.

Unfortunately, after I finished (it really wasn't getting the job done) I noticed several bits of dirt on the cloth (the kind that was sort of dry and crumbled between your fingers)

Assuming one of these solid particles were rubbing against the screen as I cleaned it, how easily would it scratch? I didn't apply very much pressure but I did apply some pressure.

The screen is a non-touchscreen matte screen with an anti-glare coating. The laptop isn't cheap so I'm not sure if that means the screen is more durable.

Thank you!
