How easy is it to damage a motherboard by overtightening screws?

How easy is it to damage a motherboard by overtightening screws?

Not easy...for me I have the Asus p8p67 pro and I notice that the area of the motherboard around the screws has no circuitry...so, if the crack isn`t large...no problems.
