Question How easy is this CPU upgrade ?

So i just got a i5-9400f and wanna know if i can just take mine out and put the new one in ?
I currently have i3-9100f cpu and asrock h310cm-hdv/m.2 mobo and my bios version is p4.20
Can anyone help me out, im no good at computers.

It will not be an issue. Plus on the upside you could upgrade your memory in the future from your current DDR4 2400 memory to DDR 2666. The upside to this is that the 2666 runs at high clock speed and voltage. You'd see around a near 25% increase, plus 2666 is cheaper because of the higher latency at CL19 vs CL17. Additionally, although the CPU will support up to 64GB of memory, the mobo will only support up to 32GB.

Okay so another thing, do i need to install any drivers or anything or am i good to literally take out my i3 9100f and put in the new i5 9400f and im good to go? Im very new to this stuff

There are three different model numbers for the i5-9400F listed with the difference being inside (xx). The BIOS version that you have surpasses each of them so will work with any of those three model numbers.
Okay so how do i know which i have? Where abouts will it tell me this info. Thank you for your help btw

I just brought and installed 32gb 2666 but when i go into task manager it says 2400
