How easy / safe is it to overclock your RAM past the XMP? (Or is it even possible?)

^As the title suggests, how easy / safe is it to overclock your RAM past the XMP? (Or is it even possible?)

My current build is in my signature.

I would like to squeeze out as much performance of every component as I possibly can.

Also, would it void any warranty?

Solution
It is always possible. XMP is just an "official" overclock that is confirmed stable by the manufacturers who make the memory sticks themselves (not the actual memory modules but the PCB the modules lay on).

You can always push past the XMP clocks and timings, but you'll have to manually run your own stress tests to ensure stability.

How far past 3200mhz do you think I could take it? Or does it depend on the RAM? And does it lower RAM longevity?

Depends abit on voltage as well. You're already on the max safe voltage for the sticks ,but have read people run ddr4 ram at 1.4V which might give some extra headroom. Do think this wil void warranty if they find out.
This is imo more of a thing for people who really are into overclocking,in real life you probably will not notice alot of difference in performance.

Who knows to be honest, yeah it depends on RAM, ram die quality, voltages, and timings.
