How far can i overclock a Zotac 750 Ti

Hey everyone, today i got my new PSU, a seasonic 520w unit, and i am ready to safely overclock my 750 Ti, my question is, what parameters should i follow whilst overclock, i know its all about testing and figuring out the perfect numbers, but what numbers should i be aiming for? , where should i start.

The 750TI from Zotac doesn't even look like it takes external power from the PSU so don't know if you only got a new one to OC, but it won't really play a part.

If it is a 750TI that doesn't use external power, expect lower overclocking as it won't be drawing any power from the PSU and only the PCIE slot.

As for how far. IT's as far as it can go. Cooling, luck of the draw, phase of the moon all determine OC. It's a low end card, don't expect much from it. IT's probably a crippled downclocked 760 that didn't make the cut.

If its the version that doesn't have a 6pin connector then there isnt much you can do since the card can only draw power from the motherboard and is already factory OCed
You can try for +100mhz core, +300mhz memory but its not even worth trying since youd see maybe a 3 or 4 fps increase at most with such a small overclock

If the card does have a 6pin connector then you can probably hit up to +350mhz core and +1200mhz memory, the temperature is the main limiting factor with the 6pin connector

Assuming you have the small form factor with only 1 fan like I have. Honestly, in my experience, going another 100mhz is easy and quite sustainable in my case. But do not tinker too much with memory. Even slight 50mhz increase would shake things up.

Forget about overvolting. Since the nature of the design forsake additional power, overvolting is out of the question. You're welcome to try though. Bear in mind, at full load, the whole thing sucks about 70watt. You have another 5watt as per PCI power limit, give or take, to play with.

After awhile, I choose to revert things back to default factory clock. Zotac already OC it a little bit out of the box. The difference in performance is negligible. More often than not, only a mere 2-5FPS boost. But that's in my case.

Then again, I never had the guts to push it further, since I like my stuff last for as long as possible.

@getochkn there is no such thing as a cut down 760 branded as 750Ti by any vendor. 750Ti was the earliest Maxwell implementation.
