Your not overheating. Check! Your not crashing. Check!

Mass Effect Andromeda is a poorly optimized game. I looked all over the internet. There are just too many sites to count with postings saying this game runs bad on computers. Much better then yours I should add. As far as the cpu being at or near 100%, these games utilize the crap out of cpus. As I said in the first line if none of that is happening your golden.

In BF 1 make sure your using DirectX 12 and not Vulkan. Also make sure Vsync is off.

The only other suggestion I can make is try a different driver for the gpu. A new one came out 2 days ago. It would be the 3rd one within a months time.

I think that your computer is fine and you just need to tune your games right. Oh...
Some games like those you mentioned would do better with hyper threading or with 6 cores. It depends on the game as each are different. Some more cpu intensive than others. Those games are more cpu intensive than gpu intensive and while your build is a good gaming build in general it may not be optimal for those specific games. An i7 and 1060 would be a better choice for bf1. Even an rx 480 can hold above 60fps on ultra 1080p with bf1.

Some people have had better performance playing bf1 in dx11 mode rather than dx12.

I own both the i5 6600k and a gtx 1070. Granted, i play all my games at 1080p, but i also play all my games max settings. As others have said, what bottleneck?

As far as the games you mentioned, I don't know about Mass effect, since i don't own it, but in BF1 i get around 110 fps. There is something else going on if your getting these low framerates.

That setup works fine for me. Sure 4 cores and 4 threads would be better, and sometimes my cpu runs close to 100% usage, but as long as the temps are good, I have nothing to worry about.

Neither do you.

i have no CLUE and now have no clue to why my games are such low fps?
im running dirext x 11
i have 8gb of ram(the most i use is 7 while gaming)
my cpu is 34c underload
my gpu is around 44c underload

this build
i5 6600k
8gb ram
gygabite sniper mobo
850 watt PSU
gygabite gtx 1070 g1
all water cooled
