@ Epic 55+ fps

This is a game that is designed to work across a wide variety of hardware, that was the main design focus and part of the reason it is widely popular over many of the other harder to run FPS games.

There are likely to be some trade-offs because there a number of relevant configuration options.

For example:

And I am curious about the 12 GB RAM configuration. That may not be an optimal configuration.

Is it 8 GB + 4 GB or maybe 3 x 4GB? What motherboard do you have.

Moving your post to PC Gaming category.

Fortnite players therein may have additional comments and suggestions.
Msi h310 and one 8gb 2400 and other 4gb 2400

This is the only RAM impact you will notice in that title.

Single Channel vs Dual channel.

As long as your in a dual-channel configuration the impact of how many chips you run is minimal, Fortnite is not memory intensive.
Means then I should go for 2x4gb 2400 mhz ram will this be fine

If your going to buy more RAM go to 16GB "2X8" otherwise just stay with the 12GB you have, there is no point buying more to drop down to 8GB total.
I was having ddr4 4gb 2400 ram so now should I buy ddr4 8gb2400 for 11gb setup or 4gb 2400 for 8gb setup
