How fragile are tempered glass pc cases side panels

I'm looking to buy a new case for my pc and i think i finaly made a decision to go with fractal design define c. I really like how the tempered glass version looks but i have a little kid (1.5 years) and am wondering if the tempered glass is safe enough.

They are well wrapped and once you have built your rig I guess you will not move it around a lot. Scratches might be a problem on the glass. Cars use tempered glass, so you can relate to it.

As far as scratching goes, TG side panel is very resistant to it while acrylic is far more prone to the scratches. Though, there are 2 downsides of TG side panels: they are quite heavy and when they do break, they shatter into thousands of small pieces. While acrylic doesn't shatter and weighs fraction of the TG side panel, besides scratches, it also attracts fingerprints and dust quite easily.

In my household, i have two PC cases with acrylic side panel (Corsair 760T V2 and Corsair 750D AF Edition) and one with TG side panel (Sharkoon DG7000-G Green). The TG side panel case i have is the very same one as in 2nd video but mine is black & green themed.
