How good are ANTEC HCG EXTREME series PSU?

One of them is priced same as Corsair RM850X. Afaik HCG Extreme is based on Seasonic focus plus gold while RMX is made by Channel Well.

I couldn't find tier list which has Antec's HCG extreme in it hence the confusion.

Do note that I probably don't need a 850W PSU. But my choice is limited by availability factor. Anything below these - only the lower tier ones are available which I don't wanna buy since I have the money to go for better tier.

The Antec HCG is okay. It'll do the job for gaming but is still considered a lower-end PSU for gaming. The Corsair RMx is much much better. I would suggest getting that one.

Hcg extreme is probably slightly better on paper.

In the real world no significant difference, both stellar units, both have 10 year warranties.

I'd simply pick the one that has better warranty procedures ie. A service centre in your country.

Sorry for replying late, been busy with sem-end exams. Both brands have good presence in my country India and both units come with 10 year warranties. Thanks for your answer. I will do a bit more research on their after sales service here though.
