I've got a 2 months old prebuilt desktop computer with these specs:

i3-3220 (3.3 GHz)
8 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 620

I would like to know how good is a desktop i3-3220 (3.3GHz) processor for gaming? for playing games like Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, FIFA 14, Saints Row IV, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Crysis 3, and upcoming games at medium resolution and settings at least.

Is my processor good or acceptable to play this kind of games? Should I upgrade it?

it will struggle on those games, i'd say low settings really. if your going to upgrade than first get a gpu, i'd say a 760 it's around $250 and will be a huge boost. also that cpu really will bottleneck the system and should be upgraded to an i5, a k sku if you want to overclock.

My lil bro uses an i3 2120 and a GTX 660ti and he maxes most games on a 1080p monitor.

So yes, an i5 will be much better, and everybody is about to tell you so. But the i3 is good enough for now. Really.

You need at least a HD 7850. They can be had for as little as $109.
