in short that card was never really a gaming card. it is more an office environment card, some basic stuff but really lacking in resources compared to even the GT660, numerically similar but very very different animals.
It is a low end card and a bit dated now. But if you still want to get one go for the GDDR5 version as it is slightly better than the DDR3 version. Here you can see the GDDR5 version in action
