All I need is for some people to triple-check this and make sure I will get a kick-@$$ gaming computer (top-end gaming, for hours). Dont want to overpay.

I'm no expert but I think you should be gaming pretty comfortably with that setup.

For the graphics card, use MSI afterburner and up the clock speed to 998MHz and the memory to 1,996MHz, which will give you a 2-3fps boost in games. This can make or break games sometimes, depending on who much you value your FPS. Don't overclock it too much, because your system will overheat.

When windows 8 comes out, you can upgrade to it for only $15.00 because of a special offer microsoft is running.

The 550Ti is an entry level GPU so in regards to your "top end gaming" question, the answer would be no, even at the paltry 1366x768 monitor you have included.

it'll be fine for a while wont play at 60fps average on max settings but overall will be pretty good.

If its just for gaming the GPU is very weak (compared to the rest of the system) and you really want a 1920 x 1080 monitor for gaming. Why do you need the second hard drive?

For top of top of the line gaming (with that power supply) see if you can get a Nvidia GTX 680. They are the top of the line graphics card and are very power efficient (the GTX 590's have the same performance, but use almost twice the power.) However, GTX 680's are $500.
