How good is the 1060 6gb?

Is the GTX 1060 6GB good for games later in the future for running things on high/ultra on 1080p with above 50 fps? Plan on building a pc, but I don't want to constantly upgrade.

its a good performance card card you can play games at high almost all games but there are some games which can not be run on Ultra
but for future i can not say how much time future you are asking

The 1060 is a great card for today's games @1080p with ultra settings. Almost all of them run at 60fps.
Will it stay like that? Kinda impossible to tell.

If you wanna not upgrade in a good while and stay @1080p, try to grab yourself a GTX 1070.

6GB should be plenty at 1080p for the next few years. only really need to step upto 8GB if you want 1440 or 2160 (qhd or uhd)

a gamer will shed more light on this maybe. but imo its good.

(after all im only using a 3GB 1060 but i dont want ultra settings).
