I've pre-ordered the LG 27GN950-B monitor to go with a Sapphire 3700XT Nitro+ SE GPU card. The monitor is UHD (3840 x 2160) Nano IPS Display with 1ms Response Time 144Hz Refresh Rate. How good is the cable from LG? Should I get a premium DP 1.4 cable like the Startech 2m VESA Certified DisplayPort 1.4 Cable ( 8K 60Hz HBR3 HDR - 7ft Super UHD DisplayPort to DisplayPort Monitor Cord - Ultra HD 4K 120Hz DP 1.4 Slim Video Cable M/M DP Connector (DP14MM2M))?

Wait till you get it and try it before you order another one. If it won't reach the resolution and refresh rate it should then try another model cable.

Yes, that would be the smart thing to do. I was juts wondering if LG would provide a nice DP 1.4 cable or a cheap DP 1.2 cable.
