Iirc I heard something about this unit awhile back and the jist was that it is quite bad but you could do worse.

It's actually not a bad unit as such, it's somewhat equitable to a Corsair CV. Not what I'd recommend for use in a gaming intended or heavy cpu/gpu workload pc. Grandma's websurfer or regular office type pc, no worries.

You mean RGPS GC-PS001.

That's actually not a terrible PSU. It's double forward and group regulated... but it's not a bomb.

It's kind of the technological equivalent to a Corsair CV450.
