How good is this aspire 3 laptop?

Hi all, my friend was planning to buy this laptop from an offline store.
Its for office use and no gaming. I can't find this particular model reviews anywhere. Do you guys advice it? Are there any better suggestions (Canada)?

That laptop is pretty powerful, but if he isn't going to game with it, I would fine a cheaper laptop. It is kind of overkill if he is not going to do any intensive things.

Well, not that he wouldn't game but its low priority. And this doesn't have a dedicated GPU, right? He didn't have many options in the store he visited and this one seems like a good offer. However, I'm concerned with the model.. Can I trust Acer? How can I know about the battery backup and all?

Yes, you can trust Acer as they make pretty good laptops. That laptop has pretty strong dedicated graphics, and it much better than any intel integrated graphics. According to the specs, it has up to a 7 hour battery which I hope is enough for your friend.
