How good is this build for gaming at 1920x1080 res on Ultra settings for most next gen games (Watchdogs, Destiny, Dying Light, etc, etc, etc) and most current gen games (Skyrim 200 mods, Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, Metro Last Light, etc, etc, etc) at at least 40fps. Thanks
P.S I've been wondering if the CPU and the GPU are unbalanced.

P.P.S will I need a better CPU cooler?

I would, I7 4770k is an overkill even at 144hz. An i5 4670k or fx 8350 will do nearly as well and costs a lot less. Gtx 780 is very powerful and you will need something along those lines to run at that many frames. I would say sli configuration make a lot of sense at this point and sli gtx 760 and gtx 770 are both great options at 500 and 620 respectively. I assume you will be playing in 3d? Or having that many frames won't be all that useful. If you are not playing in 3d, I would look to try 1440p if you can find one in your price range. I would also go faster ram like 2400mhz, it wouldn't cost much more. I would not go for the cx power supply, especially since it's only 600w. I hope this helps!
Are you trying to show off that you have 2 grand to drop on a computer?

Because it's kind of overkill for gaming, but not really.

An i7 won't perform much better than an i5 4670k will for gaming. SSDs only effect game load times. The perfomance difference between a gtx 770 and 780 doesn't really justify the cost difference.

Your PSU would be better if it was from XFX or Seasonic, as the cx series isn't the best quality, especially on an expensive system like yours.

I dunno why you're buying so many "tools" as well, you're going overboard on that.

You sohuld pickup a Displayport Cable to make the best use of your monitor/video card though.
