how good is this cooler?

for some reason it is cheaper to buy most aftermarked fancoolers than the stock cooler for an athlon64 3500+

well i wonder if this cooler
Gigabyte
G-Power Cooler
GH-PDU21-SC
is better than the stock cooler for this processer (besides that it looks good)
and if not then what about the GH-PDU21-MF?

yes this cooler is better than stock a friend of mine bought one for a intel 650 the other day not the best cooler for that processor but still he noticed a great drop in cpu temps so id recomend the GH-PDU21-SC for ur amd but is not as good as the thermaltake typhoon which i have tho its a bit of a monster lol im goin a bit of coarse here so, yeah the ans to ur question is yeah the gigabyte cooler will be better than the stock cooler

that was what i wanted to hear, now the only problem is if it will fit on AM2 (wich i have just decided to go for)

I have this on my current CPU and its very nice. I used AS5 with it and get load temps of under 50c, it also looks nice with the blue LED's.
