Hi All,

Has anyone got anything good or bad to report about the ASRock X99 Extreme3 motherboard (http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/x99%20extreme3/)?

I plan on hooking this motherboard up with an E5-1620 v3 (R2) processor and 16 Gigs of HyperX RAM (HX428C14PB2K4/16). Both the CPU and the RAM are listed on the official support lists...

Any opinions or personal experience will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Davo

Not too good, not that bad. ASRock always offers much, not only features, but a way more better. This board supports Xeon and ECC memory, also one M2 slots, two 3.0 16x pcie lanes, one 2.0 16x lanes and one 1x 2.0 lanes. It's really good overall, but it can only supports 2 SLi mode and 3 CrossFire mode and only one Ulta M.2 ssd.
