i wanted to know if this psu is good for my system: Thermaltake TR2 500W Bronze

my system is:
athlon x4 860k
msi gtx 960 oc
g.skill 8gb 1600 mhz
seagate barracuda 1tb 7200rpm 6.0gb/s
giagabyte f2a88xm-ds2

moreover will be this psu good for overclocking the cpu and the gpu????

Thermaltake aren't all that great when it comes to PSUs. I mean, it's not absolutely horrible, but it's a split rail design and will probably not support much more than what you have there effectively. Which means, upgrade, and you'll need a new PSU. Best to get a -good- PSU for an extra few bucks. In fact, you can get a Seasonic 520w for $55.00 or so:

Meanwhile, the TR2-500w @ $49.00:

Just spend the extra $5.00.
