Okay so I got a good DIY combo deal on Newegg and it came with a SAPPHIRE DUAL-X Radeon R9 270 2GB OC graphics card. I haven't built it yet but I wanted to know if it would be a good card to game with. (Heavily modded Minecraft, BF4, Titanfall(?), COD WaW, etc) I also wanted to know if it would be a card that could handle recording games well (mostly just modded Minecraft). Thank you for your answers in advance 😀 I'm sorry if this thread is a bit crummy... I don't usually do stuff like this.

BTW: the processor is an AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5 ghz but I plan on OCing

The GPU is close to my GTX 760 so I'd say yes to running those FPS games, my GTX runs BF4 Ultra 1080p at 50+ FPS. For Minecraft the GPU doesn't matter as much its more CPU...
The GPU is close to my GTX 760 so I'd say yes to running those FPS games, my GTX runs BF4 Ultra 1080p at 50+ FPS. For Minecraft the GPU doesn't matter as much its more CPU intensive and almost all modern CPU will run it fine. I could record Minecraft with Fraps on my FX 6100 at 30+ frames.
Hope this helped, tell me if you have any other questions.

He won't get 50+ consistently. Just because my 270X can get 80, if it drops to 40 during explosions I don't consider that 50+.

As far as recording goes, if you record the files to a separate drive it should be fine!

I consider 50+ FPS as
the average, while your minimum is possibly 10 FPS and maximum is 100 FPS you don't really notice those jumps so basically you are seeing 50+ FPS.

Not dropping to 10 in game, meaning it drops when loading the map or when spawning in a game. In games you might see it drop to 40 for a second but I can hardly notice it, maybe others can but I don't see how they can. The only time I notice a FPS drop is when its below 40 FPS or if I have a FPS counter open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMiUx5rbx6I look at about the 9 min mark. Then add Mantle.
