How GOOD would this budget Gaming PC be?

Im looking for a budget Gaming computer for around £300-350 for everything.
Im not looking to overclock the CPU in any way shape or form.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A320M-HD2
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200
PSU: Corsair CX550
RAM: 8GB DDR4 (2133Mhz)
GPU: ???

you might want to wait a few days for reviews of the raven ridge apu's to come out. the r5 2400g vega igpu might be worth it to save on the gpu.

Im not quite fan of APU's, id rather just have a plain CPU and a GPU rather than a two in one type thing, they're usually not worth the extra in price and the integrated graphics arent that good (from my experience)

E: Furthermore, i don't think an APU would quite keep up with the games im looking to play (e.g Subnautica,The Forest, Sea of Thieves, Witcher 3 ect ect) or maybe im just dumb?

E2: If you by chance recomended this due to the GPU: ???, I have a decent 1080p graphics card laying around that i can use until the graphics card prices hopefully go down

I would spend the extra 40 bucks and get a ryzen 5 1400, you'll get the SMT (multi-threading) which will improve gaming and future proof your rig for a couple years at least. Also there are plenty of b350 boards that are 50-60 bucks you might as well go with b350 for better power phase delivery, more pcie lanes on the chipset, more i/o ports...

Having more PCIe lanes would be good for SLI/Crossfire configs, something i don't think ill ever get into and one seems to be fine for what ill be using, more IO ports are definitely good but just the normal 4/6 at the back and 2 at the front would be enough for me, Maybe the "Better power Phase" would be a game changer?

E: I've also seen some benchmarking videos comparing the Ryzen 3 1200 and Ryzen 5 1400 and the differences aren't that monumental for the higher price (Unless i've been seeing the wrong videos, feel free to point me in the right direction)

more pcie lanes for anything. sound card, additional m.2 drives, capture cards, wifi cards. also you'll get 2 additional sata ports. plus the ability to overclock if you wish to later on.

It helps deliver stable voltages to your cpu because your cpu voltage changes as the clock speed goes up and down. better power delivery makes it a little more stable and could help your cpu last longer

more pcie lanes for anything. sound card, additional m.2 drives, capture cards, wifi cards. also you'll get 2 additional sata ports. plus the ability to overclock if you wish to later on.

Im sure more PCIe slots are good, if you're going to use them, but i've never needed to use any Soundcards or anything with any of my computers over the year, same with Wifi Cards. The Sata ports are good but i use an External SSD for portability.

Sounds good but it seems this would impact more if i were to overclock the CPU, which i won't be doing.

The r3 2200g might be worth it though because I have heard it will be about $99 and it should be as good or better than the 1200 and even though you won't overclock it should overclock well with only 1 ccx plus you get the free igpu.

Well if you want used parts then you can get a decent powerful pc.
But if you want a new pc then it will be slower than a used pc for your budget.
This is what i could find for new pc, the CPU is a 4 cores and 8 threads, a GTX 1050 TI 4GB, and a decent 8GB DDR3 ram.
This PC will be a future proof and you can save then for better parts instead of buying whole new pc.

All in all, maybe i should just wait out a few months like i was thinking, people are recomending A8's and FX's and imho that doesn't reallty seem like the best idea, Ill wait for the Ryzen APU and see if i the benchmarks are something im happy with, otherwise ill just buy a normal GPU seperately, Thanks for your help!

But after all the integrated will be a pain.
Even if you have a integrated ryzen graphics he can't play games because integrated graphics arent meant for gaming.

^ ignoring the igp entirely the 2200g has faster base & boost clocks than the ryzen 1200, the cpu side is also based on half the ccx cores so in theory performance based on memory latency (which doea affect ryzen cpu's) should be less of an issue.

It looks like it 'may' offer better performance than the 1200, maybe better tham the 1300x even.

If it does & it comes in at the same pricepoint as the 1200 then there would be no real reason not to buy one .

Apart from the fact that most if not all boards will likely require an updated bios to run one.

Only a few days to go till we see proper pricing & proper benchmarks.
