Hey first time posting to the site and I hope this isn't a stupid question.

I built my current pc with a CXM 750 psu and I've recently learned that these are not the best power supply's around. So basically I'm asking how hard is it to replace it with a better one. Can I just unplug the cxm and use the same cables on the new power supply of should I replace everything.

Thanks in advance.

Depends. if the new PSU is modular and the female internal connectors match with your current cables, then yes.

But, its easy to install the PSU, you can try to check any tutorial on internet if you have problems , or ask here step by step if you want.

not every modular psu uses the same pin out even though the plug connectors may fit so just leaving the cables where they are

and plugging them into a new modular psu isnt 100% guaranteed to work

in fact if the pin out is different not sure if it may cause damage
