How hard is it typically to get warranty service?

So, I used to work as a salesperson, and of course we often told people that the manufacturers were kind of undependable.

With that said, has anyone here gone through the process for things like PCs, tabs, phones, etc? Did you find they jerked you around or how painful did the experience end up being?

Was anyone denied on grounds they felt were unjustified?

Personally, I have never been jerked around when filing an RMA for legit reasons with one exception. The exception was not with the OEM/manufacturer, but with Newegg. They required the original packaging to conduct the RMA. Instead, I just RMAed the item with the manufacturer instead.

Now, I do know of folks breaking something and then claiming warranty service. Those instances will likely result in the RMA being rejected.
