timing 9.9.9.24 2T 1.5V
can i overclock this kit ?
my motherboard is asus z97 mark2 and my cpu is i7 4770

yes i know but i'm have other kit 4x4 2400mhz and i want to overclock my ares kit 1600 to working with other kit TradientX

all my kit now is 1600 Ares + TradientX but TradientX is already overclocked by Gskill

i'm trying to overclock my ares kit buy my pc not boot up

You can't overclock it much. It's a low profile kit too.

Let's try and get this straight - you say you have 4x4GB Ares (yes/no? If on a Z97 that's all you can have - 4 sticks total yet you say you have a 2400 set of 4x4GB Trident and want all to work together - A) you can't have 8 sticks of DRAM on a z97 - none of them have 8 slots and B) regardless the chances of running 1600 sticks alongside 2400 sticks at 2400 are slim to none

i have 4x4 Gskill TrdientX = 2
and my motherboard is z97

my Tradientx stock 2400 but my MemOk down it to 1600 to work together with ares kit

4+4 then of each, doubt if they play wellat a higher data rate - could try 1866 10-10-10-27 1.6 initially
